Meet The Team
Akin Adekeye
Co-Founder & Director
Akin co-founded CBDP in 2017 and serves as a director of the organization. His vision for CBDP is to develop a portfolio of successful community-based programs that can be replicated by other organizations and individuals in communities across Nigeria. Akin is a practicing corporate attorney and currently serves as general counsel of 4 Over International, LLC. He has previously held counsel roles at Microsoft, Caradigm, Wolters Kluwer, Pratt & Whitney and OppenheimerFunds. Akin was previously a Corporate Associate with the New York office of Clifford Chance US LLP, where he practiced primarily in the capital markets and general corporate areas. Akin holds BS degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Bridgeport, an MBA and MS in Strategic Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Juris Doctor degree from the Howard University School of Law.
Babatunde Abidoye
Co-Founder & Director
Tunde co-founded CBDP in 2017 and serves as a director of the organization. Tunde holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Statistics from Lowa State University with a deep interest in development and poverty alleviation. His research has focused on understanding and prioritizing potential interventions by the public, private and international organizations that can help alleviate poverty under different risks and uncertainties such as climate change and conflict. Tunde’s worldview and approach to these issues have been shaped by his extensive travel around the world and his experiences growing up in Nigeria, where he received his B.Sc. (Honors) in Economics from the University of Ilorin. Tunde was previously a visiting fellow at Yale University working on the economics of climate change with a focus on climate change impact on agriculture and understanding optimal adaptation strategies in Asia. He was a senior lecturer at the University of Pretoria and currently works with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) where he serves as an Economist on different projects and collaborates as a technical adviser on different projects or collaborated on research primarily with the climate change adaptation team. Tunde is a prolific researcher with several published papers.
Ayodeji adediran
Technology Director
Ayo is responsible for managing technology at CBDP. He joined CBDP in 2017 and has been focused on how to use technology to better serve the communities we are in. Ayo also designed and implemented the coding camp curriculum currently in use. He is a Software Engineer with many years of experience developing software and technology solutions for Financial Services and Non profit industries in New York city. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Institutional Shareholder Services, he was recently Associate Director of Software Development at JFNA.org and Senior.Net developer at Transactis, a MasterCard Company.
Adeleke Adegbulugbe
Operations Director
Leke uses his experience and educational background in computer engineering and business management to help grow our technology and other initiatives. Along with Ayo, he's been pivotal to the success of our coding/technology programs. He is especially passionate about introducing our students to new technology concepts. Leke has 13 years of experience in the IT/cloud services field. He started his career at Ericsson and is currently a Senior Solutions Architect with Amazon Web Services. Leke has an MBA from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) from Covenant University. A perfectionist at heart, when Leke isn't working, he can be found hiking, listening to music, or getting yet another certification.
